Your Super Crew is dedicated to putting on the best races possible! Your race directors and staff are all locals, and are deeply connected to the Washington running scene. We truly embrace the philosophy “by runners, for runners.” As frequent runholes ourselves, we make sure every detail is in place to make your race day as super as possible. From super sexy bling, to delicious grilled cheese, to accurate mile markers and friendly volunteers and to the little extras that make our races special, your Super Crew is here for you…the runner!
Sabrina Seher “Super” - Race Director
Sabrina or “Super” is the epitome of the runhole. You could say she loves running, but love might not be strong enough. Sabrina has completed over 466 (changes weekly and as of 10/15/24) marathons and ultras in her running career, so trust that she has seen everything possible on any given race day. Sabrina is the brains behind the races, and is responsible for all the amazing medal and shirt designs, and the finer touches. Sabrina has been race directing since 2013. Come say “hi” to Sabrina on race day…she loves to talk running! In addition to race directing, Sabrina is finishing up nursing school in her free time and paces all over the world. Her favorites are the Majors.
Dan Bucci “Gucci” - Assistant RD
Dan or “Gucci” is the guy that takes care of the operations…registration, timing, and execution on race day are his specialties. When not race directing, Dan can be found running something on the road or trails. With almost 200 marathons/ultras under his belt, Dan is an experienced runner who knows what runners like and how a race should be executed. Dan joined the Run Super Series Team in 2017 and helped Sabrina launch the races. He also is Assistant Race Director for the Rainier to Ruston Relay and the B&O Half Marathon. Dan annually completes an unsupported solo run on the Wonderland Trail (93 miles around Mount Rainier)…ask him about it, he’s not shy about talking about it!
Jerry “Missing Link” Gamez - Course Director (He thinks he is retired)
Jerry has been with the Run Super Series since day one. With decades of experience in race directing, Jerry brings his skills in course development and course marking to our races. When you see those perfectly placed mile markers on race day, or a well placed course marking, you can give a silent thanks to Jerry. Jerry is an accomplished runner with many speedy marathons under his belt. He has been working bike and trail races in Washington State for decades. When he’s not pretending to be retired, you will probably catch Jerry on his bike enjoying the great PNW.
